Auch in der jüngeren Betriebswirtschaftslehre wurden ethische Fragen bereits aufgegriffen; so hat Nicklisch in den 20er Jahren des vergangenen Jahrhunderts den Menschen in den Mittelpunkt seiner betriebswirtschaftlichen Betrachtungen gestellt und eine ethischnormative Ausrichtung der Betriebswirtschaftslehre diskutiert, die aus gesellschaftlichen Normen ein Sollen für das Handeln innerhalb von Betriebswirtschaften postuliert.4 Die vorliegende Arbeit setzt sich mit der Entwicklung einer Führungsethik auseinander. Zunächst soll auf die begrifflichen Grundlagen eingegangen werden. Vor diesem Hintergrund werden theoretische Grundvoraussetzungen der Führungsethik betrachtet, bevor es zur Ableitung einer Führungsethik aus ethischen Grundpositionen kommt. Außerdem werden der Situationsbezug ethischen Führungsverhaltens sowie die Rolle von Persönlichkeitsmerkmalen der Führungsverantwortlichen beleuchtet. Im Weiteren werden Ansatzpunkte für eine praktische Umsetzung der Führungsethik sowie ihre Konsequenzen dargestellt.
